Introduction to Jesus

Ephesians 1:3-14
A song of invitation. For the lost, the searching, the empty. Give Him a try.

I know you're lost and confused
About what life has for you.
You've been waiting for some time to find yourself.
You feel an emptiness inside;
One you can't describe,
And your soul cries out for help.
(What should I do?) You should call on Jesus.
(Jesus who?) He's the one who frees us.
He washed all of our sins away.
He turned our darkness in to rays of sunshine.
Oh you'd love Him. Let me introduce Him to you.
He's the simple voice that sounds
In you heart when no one is around.
The one that gently comforts you when you're alone.
(I thought it was my own) It's not your own but Him within
Being your best and truest friend.
He's the greatest healer one has ever known.
(What's the cost to know him more?) Already paid.
(What would he ever want me for?) He wants to save you.
I know this is the thing you're searching for
And it's even standing at your door.
Oh you'd love Him. Let me introduce Him to you.
(But I how can I believe?) How can you not believe my friend?
(This is so far from me.) Now you're closer than you've ever been.
(But how can I know that He's real?) Because
How I've proved Him, how I've proved Him,
Over and over, over and over again.
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him.
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er.
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh for grace to trust Him more.
Give Him a try there's nothing to loose.
I know right now He's talking to you,
And He's always, only, a prayer away.
Give Him a try don't hurt anymore.
Make Him your father, friend, and lord.
I know you'll find that Jesus is the way.
(Maybe I need Him.) I know you do.
(When can I see Him?) You'll find Him in you.
Remember He knows what's best for you.
Do what you can and He'll do the rest for you.
I know that you'll love Him.
Now that I've introduced Him to you.
