God is Love

I know you got a lot of love to give;
It's all over your face and in your tears,
But before you show it I gotta let you know that
Love is something more than you think it is.
There's someone who showed it to me
And I'm showing it to you.
Open your mind and let it in.
It's a simple message but I'm compelled to share it,
Gotta let you know cause you're my friend.
God is love and without Him you have nothing.
You can take it or leave it with me,
But that's the way it is and always will be.
So you wanna make that man the one?
You say your girl she got it goin' on?
But it ain't quite enough to say that you're in love.
You gotta know what it is and where it comes from.
God is the true one and only love,
He will be forever is now and always was.
So if love is what you're seeking I encourage you to meet Him,
Take a little time to call Him up.
God is love and without Him you have nothing.

God is love so how could you feel lonely?
To say that you cannot find love is to say that God is not enough.

So you think you're ready but question, is she?
I know that you love Jesus, but question, does he?
You're gonna make it harder without the Holy Father.
What type of love are you standing on, I'm betting none.
But I could be wrong.
But what does love mean to you?
Is it something that she can do?
All the things that you like about him? Just can't live without him?
Is that what love is to you?
If you need to find someone first get to know Jesus,
Or your journey will be hardened by the one who deceives us;
For God is love and He is how love should be.
