I’ll Try

Verse 1

I may have grown some
But I'm not safe from the snares that may come.
Though I get tempted
I try to keep my head up and move on.
There's a reward just beyond this pain-filled sky.
So I'll wait for the day when my faith becomes sight.
I will see my Jesus standing up in the sky.
Until then, I could fail, but Lord I'll try.

Verse 2

I may get foolish sometimes
Get in places that I should not be.
That's how I know God is real
And He's a God of impossibilities.
I should not be here
But God sent His Son that I should not die.
So now I must live
To show the whole world how I,
I've found a new love--
His name is Jesus Christ.
I know I could fail, but Lord I'll try.

Sometimes His love is hard to understand.
